Joji Yamamoto

Born on February 1, 1950 in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, he is currently 73 years old. While attending Hayatomo Gakuen High School, he represented Yamaguchi Prefecture (then the Western Chugoku region) in the summer Koshien tournament in 1967. At the age of 22, he moved to Tokyo with the aim of becoming a singer.
He met composer Keisuke Hama while performing at a music venue in Shinjuku, and made his debut under the name Date Haruki in 1974 with "Yogiri no Anata" (You in the Night Fog), but failed to make it big.
He began frequenting Kitajima Saburo's dressing room at Shinjuku Koma Theater, working as his assistant and opening singer.
In 1978, he re-debuted under his real name, Yamamoto Joeji, and his song "Michinoku Hitoritabi" became a million-seller.
They won various awards, including the Long-Seller Award at the 23rd Japan Record Awards. That same year, they made their first appearance on the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen. Since then, they have released many hit songs, including "Yume Kaido," "Roman," "Kanmon Kaikyo," and "Hana mo Arashi mo."
She has participated in the NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen 14 times in the past.
In 2005, he founded the club baseball team "Yamaguchi Kirara Mount G" and became its general manager.
Furthermore, in 2011, he served as the general emcee for the opening ceremonies of the "Welcome to Yamaguchi National Athletic Meet" and "Welcome to Yamaguchi Convention," where he created a great buzz as an entertainer representing his local Yamaguchi prefecture, and was appointed "Yamaguchi Hometown Ambassador" in the same year.
In 2007, he left Kitajima Music Office, where he had been affiliated for 32 years, and founded George Promotion Co., Ltd., where he works to nurture the next generation of artists.

Mitsuko Nakamura

Mitsuko Nakamura

He grew up listening to popular songs and rakugo on the radio during his childhood, and by the time he was in high school he had become so popular that he was the leader of Kawachi Ondo (singer) and would perform at several stages in one night.
When he was in his thirties, he decided to take the plunge and study under the rakugo performer Haruno Yuriko, which became the foundation of his signature song-rakugo, including "Midori no Haha."

Kaori Kozai

Born in Osaka Prefecture on August 28, 1960. At the age of 11, she was invited by her grandmother to attend a folk song class.
From December 1981 to December 1984, she signed an exclusive singing contract with CBS Sony and released three folk song singles.
He then graduated from high school and joined Taiyo Kobe Bank.
After moving to Tokyo, she studied enka under composer Yu Hijirikawa and prepared for her debut.
Debuted on May 25, 1988 with the song "Amesakaba" (now Warner Music Japan).
In 1992, he moved to Polydor (now Universal Music).
