As a teenager, he was into rock and spent his days playing drums in a band. However, his desire to explore music never stopped, and now as a DJ he delivers jazz and soul music with love in an all-vinyl style. Inspired by the many top DJs he plays with in Japan, he aims to create something unique. He is the organizer of "We JIVE!", a community that allows people to freely enjoy modern jazz, regardless of whether it is new or old. He is also a member of SOUL ALIVE, a party centered on ongoing soul music.

DJ Nomata
He is the owner of the natural wine DJ bar "NOMATA" and one of the key figures in the jazz/crossover scene based in Fukuoka. He has performed with many world-class artists, and his activities are diverse, ranging from hosting events to selecting music for radio shows and producing sound for stores. His wide-ranging style, with JAZZ as the keyword, is constantly evolving.
