(Head Office: Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture / CEO: Hideki Iwashita), which is responsible for regional revitalization projects in the Japanet Group, is pleased to announce that it held a grand opening ceremony and event for Nagasaki Stadium City, which will open on October 14th. In order to celebrate the memorable opening moment of Nagasaki Stadium City with as many people as possible, the grand opening ceremony included the longest ribbon cutting in Japan, with approximately 1,000 people participating. After that, the tenants all opened their doors at the same time, and various events were held at each facility. Over 19,000 people attended, making it a memorable opening day for Nagasaki Stadium City.

■Grand Opening Ceremony
"We want to create something extraordinary in the everyday life of Nagasaki. We want to make Nagasaki a place where people are glad to be here."
Japanet Holdings Co., Ltd. President and CEO Akihito Takada

At the event, Takada Asahito, President and CEO of Japanet Holdings Co., Ltd., appeared.
"October 14, 2024 is finally the day of the grand opening of Nagasaki Stadium City. Yesterday, I walked here from Nagasaki Station and remembered the first time I visited this place seven years ago, and it gave me an indescribable feeling. I am very happy that this project has gradually become bigger and bigger, and that we are gradually gaining more and more partners.
Our opening is the result of the combined efforts of many people, including our employees, those who were involved in the construction, and Masaharu Fukuyama, who gave the opening ceremony yesterday.
We have finally been able to get started, but I think the important thing is to make yesterday's 'extraordinary' experiences more commonplace. In Tokyo, there are opportunities to go and watch a game after work. Creating a place in Nagasaki where people can experience the 'extraordinary' in the midst of their everyday lives, such as watching a game or eating out, will give people in Nagasaki a sense of purpose in life, ultimately increasing the number of children and the population, and I hope to make Nagasaki Stadium City that kind of city. From today onwards, please support Nagasaki Stadium City.
He made comments expressing his hopes for future changes at Nagasaki Stadium City and in Nagasaki.
