Funai Research Institute, Inc., a comprehensive management consulting firm, has released a report evaluating the integrated impact (economic ripple effects, etc.) that Nagasaki Stadium City, which opened on October 14, 2024, and both professional sports clubs will have on the local community, Nagasaki Prefecture, and related stakeholders.

■What is Nagasaki Stadium City?

A large-scale mixed-use complex operated by Regional Creation Nagasaki, a member of the Japanet Group, comprising a soccer stadium, arena, hotel, commercial facilities, and offices.
The complex includes a soccer stadium with approximately 20,000 seats that serves as the home of professional soccer club "V-Varen Nagasaki," an arena with approximately 6,000 seats that serves as the home of professional basketball club "Nagasaki Velca," Japan's first soccer stadium-view hotel, a commercial complex overflowing with fun offerings for eating, learning, and entertainment, and one of Nagasaki Prefecture's largest office buildings that attracts companies from both within and outside the prefecture.
