Regional Creation Nagasaki Co., Ltd. (Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture; President and CEO: Hideki Iwashita), which is promoting the Nagasaki Stadium City Project, will be holding an online seminar from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023, to introduce the efforts of each company, along with Kobe Arena Project operator One Bright KOBE (Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture; President and CEO: Jun Shibuya), and TOKYO A-ARENA PROJECT (Odaiba/Aomi, Tokyo) operator Toyota Alvark Tokyo Co., Ltd. (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kunihiko Hayashi). The seminar will focus on "Urban development centered on a private (Fri) sector-led next-generation arena."

Each arena is scheduled to open by fiscal year 2025, and will be capable of hosting a variety of events, including B.LEAGUE (professional basketball league) home games, music concerts, sporting events, and MICE. In addition, the arenas are expected to increase tourism demand and contribute to creating a lively atmosphere in the region, and the plan will be presented in the form of a dialogue between the leaders of Kobe, Tokyo, and Nagasaki to explain their plans that take advantage of the respective characteristics of the cities.

This project is being promoted by the Japanet Group and is a private-sector-led development of a complex that will include a soccer-only stadium, an arena, a hotel, commercial facilities, and offices. The stadium will be the home of the professional soccer club "V-Varen Nagasaki," and the arena will be the home of the B.LEAGUE club "Nagasaki Velca." In addition, the plan calls for initiatives that will allow the venue to be enjoyed on a daily basis even on days when there are no games, and the aim is to revitalize the region, including attracting tourists from both within Japan and overseas, with sports as the base. The project is expected to open in 2024, and is the first of the three companies to take the stage.

In autumn 2025, the former site of Megaweb will be transformed into the home arena for the B.LEAGUE team Alvark Tokyo. An unprecedented arena will be born in Aomi, Odaiba, Tokyo, as a stage for many friends to gather and expand the possibilities of sports, mobility, and the city. Under the concept of "Let's bet on possibilities," the TOKYO A-ARENA PROJECT aims to become a place where various possibilities gather and are unleashed, mainly in the areas of sports, mobility, and sustainability, with the cooperation of various partners.

This is Japan's first waterfront arena surrounded by the sea on 270 degrees, as part of the city center waterfront area redevelopment project promoted by Kobe City. It is a new privately-run landmark project in Kobe, created by a consortium of three companies: Smart Value (head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka City; Director and CEO: Shibuya Jun), NTT Urban Development Co., Ltd. (head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tsujigami Hiroshi), and NTT Docomo Inc. (head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Ii Motoyuki). After opening, it will be the home arena for the B.LEAGUE "Storks." Based on the concept of the Smartest Arena, which connects hardware, software, digital, and social elements, the arena aims to create an arena that contributes to regional revitalization and solves social issues, while generating daily activity around the arena.
