■Who will become the "2026 First Nagasaki Stadium City Idaten"? The first serious competition of the new year!
 
 
Nagasaki Stadium City will be hosting the "Nagasaki Stadium City Idaten - Run Through Stadium City" event, where participants will run at full speed and compete to be the first, in the hopes of bringing everyone good health and good fortune for the year.
The heated battle to decide the "first Nagasaki Stadium City Idaten" will begin on New Year's Day, based on the Japanese word "Idaten," which is known for its speed and is often used as a synonym for a swift runner.

The course is a complete lap around the 3rd floor concourse of Peace Stadium.
The winner will be awarded the title of "First Nagasaki Stadium City Idaten" and a commemorative gift.
 
Why not give it your all and aim to become the "first Nagasaki Stadium City Idaten"?
 
 
This event will be available for viewing free of charge from the stands.
Anyone is welcome to watch, so please come and cheer on the challengers as they compete in earnest.

Reception hours: 11:00-11:30
Reception location: Applications must be submitted in advance, and only successful applicants will be contacted at a later date.
Line-up time: 11:30-11:50

*This event requires advance application.
A lottery will be held at registration to determine the starting point (registration is on a first-come, first-served basis).
Lineup will begin at 11:30, so please be sure to check in on time.
As a general rule, cancellations are not possible after participation has been confirmed.
If you must cancel your participation due to unavoidable circumstances such as poor health, please fill out the cancellation form by 6:00 PM the day before.
*The cancellation form will be sent to winners only via email.

*Minors must obtain parental consent to participate..
Please refrain from participating if you have a chronic illness, are pregnant, or have any health concerns.

[Nagasaki Stadium City Idaten Course]
With Mount Inasa as a backdrop, participants start all at once from the Sodick Gate on the 3rd floor, run through the concourse with the vibrant pitch spreading out below them, and finish in front of the Karcher Gate on the northeast side of the 3rd floor.


 

<Notes for race participants>
- If you are late for the meeting time or if your declaration is false, you will be disqualified.
・You may be asked to show your ID at the reception. Please bring something that shows your name and age, such as a driver's license or health insurance card.
・There will be an awards ceremony for the first place winner (the awards ceremony will be held from 12:00 to 12:30). Please only participate if you are able to do so.
・We recommend wearing comfortable sneakers.
Please do not wear spikes, sandals, clogs, or bare feet as the surface may be slippery and you may injure yourself or others.
- It is strictly prohibited to forcefully overtake, push, or pull the clothes of the person in front of you.
- Hitting a concrete wall or metal handrail can result in serious injury. Please stay near the center of the course.
If you fall, do not try to get up by force. Instead, protect your head until the next person has stopped.
If you see someone fall, please call out to each other and make an effort to prevent an accident.
・Participation while intoxicated is strictly prohibited.
・Please take adequate measures to protect yourself from the cold, and refrain from participating if you are not feeling well.
・Please keep your valuables with you. Runners are not allowed to carry large bags.
・Any other actions that may be considered dangerous are prohibited. If you do not follow the instructions of the staff, you may be refused participation.
・Please note that photos of the event may be posted on Nagasaki Stadium City's official social media accounts.
 
 
<Notes for spectators in the viewing area>
1. Requests regarding safety
・Entry onto the course is prohibited. Contact with runners is extremely dangerous.
From the start of the race until all runners have passed Please do not leave your designated viewing area.
・Prohibition of exposure: Do not lean over fences or traffic cones. Please do not place your hands or belongings on the course. This can lead to collisions with runners.
・For those with children: Please make sure to hold your child's hand or Please keep an eye on it.
 
2. Photography and Manners
・Flash photography is prohibited: Flash light obstructs runners' vision and may lead to falls, so it is prohibited throughout the entire course.
・Restrictions on the use of tripods and monopods: The use of tripods and monopods in crowded areas is prohibited as they may obstruct the passage of other customers or cause them to fall over.
・Drones, etc. are prohibited: For safety reasons, flying or filming drones, radio-controlled vehicles, etc. within or around the facility is strictly prohibited.
 
3. Management and Other
・Observance of instructions from staff: To prevent accidents, staff may give instructions and guidance. If you do not follow instructions, you may be asked to leave the venue.
- Maintaining clear aisles: Please refrain from standing in aisles or on stairs while watching the game as this will obstruct the passage of other customers.
・Regarding the publication of photos and videos: Please note that photos of spectators during the match may be published on Nagasaki Stadium City's official social media accounts or through media coverage.
・Management of luggage and valuables: The organizers will not be held responsible for any loss or theft caused by overcrowding. Please manage your luggage and valuables at your own risk.
