■About the "PR(L)AY FOR PEACE" Project

This is a project in which Nagasaki Stadium City collaborates with soccer clubs from around the world to spread a message of peace.
The project name has two meanings: to play or enjoy sports (=PLAY) and to pray for peace (=PRAY).
In addition to concept rooms featuring the emblems of each club, messages of peace will be sent out to the world via social media.

■Concept rooms for each club have opened at Stadium City Hotel Nagasaki!

<Overseas club concept room>
We have prepared a concept room featuring designs featuring the emblems of VfB Stuttgart (Germany) and Sint-Truiden VV (Belgium) as well as posters of players.

VfB Stuttgart (Germany)
A soccer club based in Stuttgart, Germany. The club has won many titles, including the Bundesliga, the domestic league, five times and the DFB Pokal, Germany's soccer cup, three times. The club values its ties with its supporters and also works hard to collaborate with the local community, and in the past, players such as Shinji Okazaki, Gotoku Sakai, Takuma Asano, Wataru Endo, Hiroki Ito, Genki Haraguchi, and Moeno Hosogai were all members of the club. Currently, young notable players such as Chase Henry and Rinto Hanashiro, as well as female player Yuka Hirano, play for VfB.

Sint-Truiden VV (Belgium)
A football club based in Sint-Truiden, a city in the Belgian province of Limburg. The club has twice been runners-up in the Belgian Cup and won the second division of the domestic league four times. In 2017, the Japanese company DMM.com acquired management rights to the club, and many Japanese football players joined the club. Former members of the club include Takehiro Tomiyasu and Shinji Okazaki.

<Sanfrecce Hiroshima x V-Varen Nagasaki collaboration room!>
As part of our "PR(L)AY FOR PEACE" initiative, we have prepared a collaboration room between the two clubs in hopes of promoting world peace.

Sanfrecce Hiroshima
A professional soccer club based in Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, and a member of the J.League. With the philosophy of "sharing dreams and excitement through soccer activities and contributing to the local community," the club plays "aggressive, attacking, and attractive soccer" by utilizing the power of professional, independent individuals and the power of a strong, unified organization.

V-Varen Nagasaki
V-Varen Nagasaki is a professional soccer club that belongs to the J-League and has its home town in 21 cities and towns in Nagasaki Prefecture. For the 2024 season, the team is fighting fair and square under the slogan "Let's go with gratitude in our hearts! To the best stage."
